Cleo "Sonny" Franklin Boyett Obituary (1945 - 2017)

Cleo F. Boyett (Sonny) went to heaven on December 14, 2017. He was 71 years old. He was a resident of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He was a loving husband, daddy, grandpa and great grandpa. He loved fishing, wood working and tormenting his grandchildren. They loved every minute of it! This man was loved very dearly - you can tell by the tears that fall today and not just from family and friends but from those whose lives he touched. In our minds we are happy because we know he is in heaven. The world has lost a beautiful, loving, caring and faithful man. Sonny is survived by his wife, Karen Boyett of the home; his children, Connie Warden and husband Kelly of Newalla, Oklahoma, Jeana Montecino and husband Brian of Carney, Oklahoma, Kemberly Feuerborn of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Joshua Boyett and wife Angie of Cleveland, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, Christopher, Starsha, Stacia, Kelsey, Victoria, Samantha, Walter, Danielle, Peter, Brianna and Ethan; seven great-grandchildren, Layla, Arabella, AnnaLynn, Gauge, Chase, Isabella and Marcel; one brother, Tim and three sisters, Tommie, Ginger and Robbie and many nieces and nephews. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, M.C. and Yvon Boyett; two brothers, Danny Boyett and Jimmy Boyett; two sisters, Bobbie Collier and Laura May; granddaughter, Crystal Montecino and baby great-grandson, Silas. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Mountain Top Worship Center, 7709 W Cameron, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74127.
