Obituary for John George Medina, III

John George Medina III, (JT) of Sapulpa, Oklahoma passed away in a car accident in Glenpool, on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the age of 16.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Broadway Baptist Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, Sand Springs. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home’s Legacy Chapel.
J.T. was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 26, 2001 to John and Nicci Medina. J.T. previously attended Eagle Point Christian Academy and Sapulpa High School and currently was a junior at Tulsa Technology Center.
J.T. was very mechanically inclined; he could fix anything, motorcycles, cars or trucks. His passion was mechanics which he studied at Tulsa Tech. He also, loved being outdoors and was very adventurous in hunting, fishing, and camping. He was mischievous in what he did, jumping off cliffs, being a comedian, a class clown and showoff.
He is survived by his parents, John and Nicci Medina of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; two sisters, Alex Medina of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Ashley Brown and husband Marvin of Wagoner, Oklahoma; two brothers, Joshua and Jesse Medina of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents, Michael and Sharon McKee of Rochester, Minnesota; paternal grandmother, Patricia White of Great Bend, Kansas and Theresa Medina of Larned, Kansas; maternal great-grandmother, Evelyn Thornton of Chase, Kansas and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family.
He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Medina, Sr.
