Obituary for Mary McCully-Horton

Mary Lynn McCully-Horton, 55 of Sand Springs, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, July 10, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born on December 6, 1961 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a daughter of Walter Blankenship and Gladys Kenyon. Growing up Mary was an accomplished athlete playing basketball through high school.

Mary was a very loving and caring person. She was always happy being around her family, the people she loved most. She was content in what she did, full of patience and strong willed. Mary had a passion for art, animals, children, and loved to fish.

Mary is survived by her husband, Don Horton; one son, Josh McCully and Stormy Richburg; her mother, Gladys Hall; two sisters, Janita Canady, and Joyce White and husband, David; nieces, Joy Adams, Ashley Mertins, and Kimberley Adkison; nephews, Ronnie Furr and Steve Forst; and many extended family members and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her father, Walter Blankenship; one brother, Henry Christy and one sister, Twila Christy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home’s Legacy Chapel, 1200 North Cleveland, Sand Springs, Oklahoma 74063
